During the Christmas season, in addition to our Hampers available all year round, we create a special limited edition Festive Hamper, large and small, adding a rich, chocolatey Panforté, a box of our signature Fruit Mince Tarts, and for the first time, a bottle of 2020 Irrewarra Pinot Noir or 2021 Irrewarra Chardonnay — a very special gift for staff, clients or family and friends.

Inside the large Irrewarra Festive Hamper you’ll find a box of our handcrafted Fruit Mince Tarts handmade with pastry made from local butter, local free range eggs and handmade fruit mince with French Brandy and the best quality dried fruit. Also included is our Irrewarra traditional Italian festive sweet, Chocolate Panforté filled with roasted almonds and figs. These seasonal products are offered alongside two of our very special granola and biscuit varieties - the Original Granola and the Anzac biscuits.

Irrewarra wines are made by By Farr Winery, from grapes grown in our 10 acre vineyard at Irrewarra, planted in 2001. Nick Farr, 2020 Gourmet Traveller Winemaker of the Year, has said of the Irrewarra wines:
“Experiencing overtime the shared differences between the Bannockburn and Irrewarra sites has lead to greater awareness of all our sites and created a line of wines under the Irrewarra label that are extremely fine and austere. The chardonnays exhibit lime and utter freshness while the pinots have lifted perfume and and undergrowth structured palate. Both wines are a fantastic example of the damp earth, high rainfall climate and free draining soils that they are situated in. Exciting times ahead for those that haven’t not yet had the pleasure."
His tasting notes for each of the recent release wines in the hamper describe their complexity and highlights:
"The 2021 Chardonnay …
A deliciously mineral and slippery drink. An array of citrus and complexity lined with a fantastic backbone of acidity. Perhaps a bottle to be consumed by yourself.
The 2020 Pinot Noir …
Sit back and take in the aromas from a glass of this pinot as you think about sitting at the top of the vineyard surrounded by cows, water, grass and all things Western District farming.
Sweet and sour cherries, earth, spice and a lovely elegant structure."
